Judging
Judges will score each singer in the following categories:

Ability
Focuses on pitch, tone, key, tempo,
breathing, control,
intonation, word accuracy & phrasing.
Vocal technique
and strength!
Make sure you choose
a song that's good for
your abilities!
It's as much about song selection as anything else.
Choose Wisely!

Overall
Effect
We look at how
successful you were
at grabbing
and holding the crowd's interest and enthusiasm. It is NOT about the
applause meter.
It doesn't matter
how many people you
bring to cheer you on.
We're looking at your overall success in the entire room, not just
your friends!

Contest Rules
Contestants may
only sing songs listed in the
Easy-E Productions songbook. No acapella.
We request that contestants who
know they will be late make
advance scheduling arrangements with Easy-E Productions
in order to remain in the contest.
We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule, within reason.
Contestants
must sing a different song each round.
Once contestants have signed in and submitted their song
for a given round, it cannot be changed.
No prior Easy-E contest winners
are eligible to compete in this contest.
Contestants must sing
in at least 3 qualifying rounds
to be eligible as a semifinalist.
Qualifying rounds will be held on:
9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21 & 11/11
November 11 will be a practice round.
Contest eligibility is at
the discretion of Route 22 and Easy-E Productions.
You
must be 21 to compete.
ID may be requested.
